I've had a brilliant day

FI had a great time in my understanding Christianity course today.  I got some fab resources, learned a lot and had some delicious food.  Pear infused water and a cheese tart, yes please.
Then after the course I took a detour, I had seen something in the places nearby section on Facebook.  I couldn't believe when I turned up and it was real.  I went to the Woolpack, the real pub that they used to film Emmerdale in.  I didn't go in, this time.

On the way home I saw a sign for the Salt Mills, I had heard about it from a lady  at work.  I decided to take advantage of the fact the GO was working late to pop in and have a look around.  The place was amazing.  It is shops, cafe and art gallery.  I saw one of David Hockney's biggest exhibitions, in the spring of 2011 he painted a picture a day in Bridlington using an IPad.  The collection was called The Arrival Of Spring.

I drove home over the tops, managing to reach the summit just as the sun was beginning to set and the clouds took on a beautiful softness.  I stopped and took in the awe and wonder.

By the time I got home I was glowing, I had the best day I've had in a long time.  I wanted to just curl up and watch Emmerdale.  Instead I surprised myself by pulling on my trainers and completing the second run of week 2 of the couch to 5K plan.

What a great day!
