What an amazing way to kick off the summer holidays. GO booked us a taster session with the local water sports centre on Hollingsworth Lake. We didn't know what to expect, we didn't know what boat we'd be in but I did know I wanted to take lots of photos. That is just what we did and videos using our new action cam. It looks like a GoPro but is called an Akaso 3700. We got some really amazing footage.
We arrived early and we're told to come back later, so we did what any self respecting sailor does. We got some chips and sat by the lake watching the world go by. Hollingsworth is very popular st weekends, even more so in the summer.
After we consumed the chips we returned to the activity centre. "Windsurfing or sailing?" Well as I knew they wouldn't have any wetsuits in my side I laughed and said I think I'll just stick with the sailing. Once we were settled in the dingy, I handed the ropes to GO and sat back taking photos and videos of the lake, sails, water, boat, etc.
