It started, as it always does, with GO getting an email. He had tickets to watch the filming of Ninja Warrior in Manchester. We are no strangers to TV show filming so we knew that there would be a long queue, what I hadn’t expected, which should have been obvious, was the amount of children that were there. It was like playground duty. We got some amazing seats, not on camera but very near the front of the stage. GO made friends with the single mother next to him and her daughter. The teenagers in front weren’t impressed when instead of chanting “Beat the Wall, I shouted Burt the Wall!” The filming lasted for a long, long time but was so much fun.
