Hooray for Hollyrood

Before heading for Hollyrood for a spot of tea, we took a wander through town after taking the tram to its final destination.

We made our way through the back streets of a retail park and found ourselves halfway up Carlton Hill.  On our previous visits we have climbed to hill and it was quick a trek, to find ourselves almost half way there was a bonus.

Not too tricky a trek this time.

I’m always in a race to the top, this time with the couple just behind GO, I won!

Getting our breath back, nice flushed cheeks.

Loving the new converse, ohh la la.

Say cheese!

Overlooking the father land.

Trusting a tourist to take a photo

Look we’ve gone to Athens, just kidding.  Must be time for a spot of tea, there’s a palace round the corner let’s go there.

Oh he’s so very fancy.

Red faced and happy.

White sand for white tea, green sand for green tea and black sand for black tea.  Different sand for different teas.

Waiting patiently for his cuppa, ain’t no billers tea here, thank you very much.

This was actually a video GO hadn’t told me he was filming.

So I didn’t stop moving.

Ooh fancy food for fancy people.

How rude!

The palace from the toilet.

Making out way to Scottish Parliament, going to have a word about Brexit!

They wouldn’t listen to me.

GO is thrilled though.

Packed house, only joking.

The view from the toilet, bloody nice toilets.  It became my favourite place to spend a penny or two.  It was worth the security check ups.

Dynamic Earth

We adore Chao Baby Thai restaurant in Manchester and GO found its parent restaurant in Edinburgh Chaopraya, just as yummy.

He’s so happy.
