Ba da bing

As part of our week of treats to celebrate five years of marriage, GO had arranged something for each evening.  Our first night was a Stone steak meal at Badabing, a Sopranos themed cabaret bar.  Most evenings they had live entertainment.

The night we were there they had a live pianist with an open mike night.  There were a couple of regulars who got up and took to the stage for over fifteen minutes.  The atmosphere in the joint was just of a small group of individuals having fun.

The Steak and stone was literally a hot lava stone with the steak on, we were given a timer to ensure that we turned the steak at the correct time to achieve the desired "doneness", it was rather yummy, and as always with steak when it was eaten I could've eaten more.  I'd go vegan as long as I could eat as much steak as I wanted, lol.

We have been quite fertility focused recently, the amazing, spermometer app predicted that I'd be in my fertile window within days.  I decide to throw caution to the wind, and just let me hair down and enjoy some alcohol.  Well it's not everyday you celebrate five years of marriage.

Boy did I let me hair down, I started, as always, with a cider and very quickly progressed onto cocktails.  This was most likely because on the very wet walk to the restaurant we popped in to M&S and I purchased a couple of cocktails in a can, they were lethal, very yummy and alcoholic.  I began heckling the singer and made some bizarre requests; Smelly Cat was a crowd favourite.  It was a fun night and a very good start to the trip.
