Driving home for Easter

The drive from Oxford to Buende can take about twelve hours from door to door (that's not long some of you may say).
Look at Little Miss Grumps in the back
Sometimes it flies by and sometimes it can be such a s d--r--a--g.  It all depends on the weather (I hate the snow and rain), the conditions (traffic jams when you don't understand the road signs are a nightmare) and the people you are travelling with (driving alone is fun for the first and last ten minutes the rest of the time it is so lonely, and can be dangerous if your mind starts to wander).
On the Eurotunnel, about to travel under the channel
This trip had to have been the funniest trip ever, because as mamilein's has a very poorly knee, which often needs to be stretched, she sat in the back seat with her new addiction and didn't want to share any.
We are in France - but only for half and hour
So for most of the journey I was able to film her sneakily eating the crisps when she thought no one was looking.  It made a long journey a lot of fun.  I was crying with laughter most of the time, but I suppose as is always true in this life, you had to be there to appreciate the humour.
Bonjour
We tried to break up this journey with a stop in Herenthals, to visit our old houses.  It was nice to reminisce, but it was such a quick pit stop that it was a case of blink and you'll miss it.

Arriving in Belgium - only for about an hour

Massive Belgian Bunnies - sadly not Chocolate

Stop off to reminisce

We lived in that house when I was little
