We Got Married

So after Ginger one proposed we planned a wedding.  We knew the colours (pink and orange), we knew the date (4th April 2013) we just had to fill in the blanks. 

 

Throughout this we were regularly attending fertility check ups, blood tests and appointments.  It was decided that we would go for a scan at the JR at the end if April, after the wedding.

The big day came and we had, the best day. 

We put on our best bibs and tuckers and walked down the aisle, to never ending happiness (we hope).

We were married, a family of two, now to expand this awesome duo into a trio.

 

Within days of returning from our minimoon in Edinburgh we had our first official appointment.

I love a good wedding, but I also love a look at the bits and pieces that go together to make a bride.  These are a few pictures of my own bridal outfit.

My dress was nothing like the one I had imagined in my head, I was going to be a lacey bride all the way.  When I tried this dress one I fell in love with the silk and ever so subtle sparkle.

Beginning our journey together...

Ginger One (G.O) and I have decided to visit the GP and begin the process of trying to conceive.  I have also had problems with my periods and at 18 was told by a German doctor, that he couldn't find anything wrong  and that I would just need to take some tables to have a baby.

 

We made appointments for us both to be checked out even though we all know that I am the one with issues having only four periods a year.  It was discovered that I have Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.  I have the features of the condition (it is something I have suspected myself for a very long time.) I have few/no periods, I have very thin dry hair, I eat healthily and exercise and generally keep myself healthy, but I struggle to lose weight.

This meeting sparks something in the ginger one, "we are making a lifelong commitment to each other, starting a family is huge...." he says and then he does something so totally out of character.
