There was a knock a the window, it was half past four and I was in my way home. The cleaner said shr is right here, I looked up and one of my 'boys' was stood at the door with a chocolate bunny.  "This is for you Mrs M, you deserve it."  He handed it to me, turned around ad ran bak to his mum.  What a lovely surprise and so unexpected.

For the love of a Ginger One

You are the best friend I have ever had, you have seen me at my best and my worst and you are still here.  You are a wonderful, kind, funny (ha ha not weird) man.  You are softly spoken, stubborn and can be overly dramatic, but I adore you and I am thankful for the days we have had together and the days we have to come.

Year 4

Four years ago I married my best friend

It was a lovely, colourful day.  We kept it small and intimate (aka cheap). We had as many friends as possible make and do things for us, we can never express our thanks for what everyone did to make the day so very special.

I fell for these

There were at least three online article that I read and believed to be true, only to realise after quite some time that they were April Fool jokes.

The last one may actually be true.

The force is with me

I saw them board the train, I wondered if they would mingle on the carriages.  Then I had an idea, I was wearing GO's t-shirt, I flashed it off.  "Would you like to meet him?"  One of the officers asked.  "You bet I would!"  I was actually going I meet him, I was star struck. He was impressed by the t-shirt and asked if I wanted a photo, hold me back, I thought.  I felt like (and looked like) a giddy school girl.  I had met someone oh had been part of my life since I was a child.  

I asked for a favour, "could you do something about him?"

Hello April

What an exciting month ahead we have; Trouble at Mill, Sci FI on the sidings, trips out and visitors. Looking forward to making more memories with my dear heart .

I needed that

After a tense day at work, I read with a little girl who made my week, possible even my year without even trying to.  She was reading the Julia DOnaldson book A Squash and A Squeeze, at the end of the book (spoiler) after she removed all of the animals her house feels enormous and she begins to frolic.  The little girl read this as; "She frogs lice, yes she frog's lice.  I love little people.

P.S  When I googled the words frog lice this is the bizarre image that I found.

I have come to the conclusion...

It hasn't been the easiest of weeks/months/years/jobs,  I have to admit I miss the days where I was penniless and happy, and look forward to those days returning soon.  I am on the hunt for a new position, I have made a some interesting discoveries (to be explored more before I announce) recently and I know that brighter days are ahead of me. 

After yet another city mourns, I was recently reminded  of a social media post I had read.  The author explained  that when they were younger  and would see harrowing images on the TV  screens their mother would say; look for the helpers. Even at the worst of times there are always people around willing to lend a hand and help.  It is a sentiment that is truer today than ever before.  At the worst moments in history, humanity is always their  to help, support and guide us.  These angels take all shapes, sizes and creeds. They often don't even realise how  helpful they have been, and how greedily  the support they offer is taken.  Thank you to all of lifes  helpers, as long as we  see you in the midst of all the carnage we will know humanity still exists, love is still strong and  hatred hasn't won.
