Call me bug lady bug
All children who stay green all term get to have a treat. I got an email saying that fir ks1 we could do parachute games or something.
This didn't sound very appealing to me, these children have worked hard and that needs to be recognised. So I suggested Zumba, I found some videos online and suggested we play a few.
I decided to get dressed up a bit, to make it fun and different for them. Why? Was the question on most peoples lips. Because they're worth it, I would reply.
That is how I ended up spending fifty minutes prancing around the hall in front of 70 kiddies dressed like a ladybird, and I loved every minute of it.

I couldn't resist
On Sunday there was talk of a SuperMoon being visible, people were planning to go to Stoodley Pike to catch a glimpse. I didn't have to go for to see a super moon of my very own.
I crack myself up
Papichen, every the military man has begun Operation Christmas 2016. Along with season greetings comes the request for information, after all we are always reminded for the six P's;
Proper Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance.
So when an email arrived asking what we would like to eat, I replied.
I love the autumn
Just thought I'd share some photos from my after work walk along the canal. I walked until I saw a red leaf then I turned back and headed for home.
What a day, well done me
I dropped GO off at work, came home and marked some of E writing books. In the future I expect it will be a long and tedious job but as they aren't writing muh they take about five minutes to mark. I did a load of washing, cooked tea, and did the dishes all before 10am. I then checked my emails the English Coord was available to give feedback on our books (a cold flash ran through my body). I wasn't feeling confident.
I got to school, heard eight children read, did some handwriting, practised then delivered our Thankfulness assembly.
Got my feedback from Lit Coord, and it was quite positive. The areas for development, I have already put into place )using my professional judgement).
As we finished quite quickly (her dog had gone into labour, eight puppies), I decided to go home.
I had planned to go for a run, but as it was a dry and not too cold an evening, pulled into an carpark and went for a walk along the canal. It was lovely being out in the fresh air. As I got home I decided that as I was in such a good mood I'd do my run too.
Today may actually be the most productive day I have ever had. Well done me.

Ain't technology grand?
I got to FaceTime my delicious little god daughter today. She was full of kisses and covered in chocolate. Isn't that how they are supposed to be? She is growing up fast and I am so sad I miss milestones being so far away, but with the magic of technology I can cat some of the gorgeousness all these miles away.
