Booked it

Find some money, put it in a safe place (bank) its all gone!  Plus side has been used to buy use a bit of a trip.  We are exploring the motherland, well the Southern part, Bavaria.  I can't wait I love it down South I haven't been in such a long time, twenty years I think.  Grutzi

It wasn't brutal it was absolutely hilarious

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself last night on the works do.  

I haven't laughed so much in ages.  I'm not going to lie, I was merry but I wasn't drunk, haven't been drunk in ages.  The food was delish, the cider was flowing and everyone was just out to have a good time.  Top it all off, it was free, as a well deserved thank you, never worked somewhere with such a great attitude to the staff.  

Feeling Rough

The trouble with a summer cold is that snuggling on the sofa under a cozy blanket is the last thing you want to do when all around you are enjoying the sun, and it doesn't last long up here.  That is what I am doing though and I feel like poop.  This may have been brewing a while, as this was my first work free weekend in a long time I relaxed and now I'm paying the price.

This has the potential to be brutal

The question on most lips this week has been "What are you wearing on Friday?"  My answer has been I can't decide what to wear tomorrow never mind Friday.  While this is true, I had an idea of what I wanted to wear.  July has been a long time coming and more than ever before I am absolutely shattered.  I want to wear my pjs, lounge on the sofa and watch Netflix with GO.  We were out last week, and next week and I imagine we will be out again some point this week.  Instead I have scrubbed myself clean and prettied myself up, it has been quite nice to get dolled up, I even painted my nails.  While some have been disappointed that I haven't "dressed up", I think I look alright, I have managed to get everything to coordinate which is hilarious.  

As I wait for the train which will take me to the public house, hopefully.  Memories of Christmas flood back, I met a couple of ladies on the train and we were giddy with end of term emotions.  We had a good night ahead of us and then reality dawned as the train sailed past the station.  Somehow we had, all three of us, mananged to get on the wrong train.

Fingers crossed the train is correct, the beers are cold and the company is on fine form.

We went for a meal at the Waggoners and it was yummy, huge portion sizes and very satisfying.  Good food, good company and good times.

Goodbye June

What a month, we've had highs and lows.  Bad times, long times waiting followed by lovely good times.  It has been an interesting month and I'm sad to see it go but I am also quite glad because July looks like it will lots of fun.
